Reports to: Marketing & Sales Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Visit Dermatology offices and clinics with the goal of promoting services and driving prescriptions in assigned territory
  • Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with current and prospective Dermatology providers in the assigned territory or target list to generate new business and retain existing business.
  • Analyze the territory/target list potential and determine the value of existing and prospective Dermatology providers to the organization.
  • Plan and organize personal sales strategies by maximizing return on time investment for the territory/target list.
  • Utilize CRM to report on healthcare provider’s needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for utilization of Big Country products and services.
  • Keep abreast of product applications, clinical journals/publications, market conditions, and competitive activities through pertinent literature.
  • Maintain updated daily communication logs on activity and call frequency in CRM to ensure overall goals are exceeded
  • Follow up with assigned accounts to provide any needed assistance and to resolve any service complaints
  • Provide education and information pertaining to compounded medications, new products, back-ordered medications, and general pharmacy updates to providers. This education is conducted in person with the physicians and/or clinic staff
  • Prepare and present protocols and recommend products based on provider and staff needs that are in accordance with pharmacy guidelines
  • Serve as a communication liaison between assigned accounts and the pharmacy
  • Consistently meet or exceed predetermined goals, standards and expectations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree or medical/pharmacy certification (RN, PhT, LPN, etc.)
  • Minimum 5 years outside sales experience or 1-2 years experience in pharmaceutical and/or medical sales
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and adequate transportation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and CRM platforms
